Artist Bio

I am a mosaic artist. I love birds and have been drawing them since I was a child. Most of my mosaics are depictions of birds. I work mostly in glass on wood but also on cement board and glass. I love sharing my studio and skills, so I have an open studio two evenings a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-9) where people can come in and work on their own mosaics.

About the Studio

I have a well supplied studio, full of glass in every color of the rainbow. It is well organized so Open Studio Participants can find what they need.

What to Expect

I will be working on a glass mosaic of a bird. I can demonstrate cutting glass in different ways to get the hard surfaces of glass to become more painterly. Some of the Open Studio participants will be there on and off to demonstrate their skills, as well.
