Artist Bio

Linda Krause’s background as a nature loving park ranger influences her work with fiber. Her artwork has won awards at showcases with the Gainesville Fine Arts Association. She was juried into the SAQA (Studio Art Quilt Associates) exhibit and book, Perspectives. Her proudest moment was being selected as an Artist in Residence for the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Linda was also honored with scholarships to the Quilt Surface Design Symposium and the Alegre Retreat. She has been represented at numerous GFAA exhibits, as well as several other local and regional venues.
