Bio

I draw inspiration for my art from the bright colors and light of Mexico, the lush plant life of Florida, and the expansive vistas of my Native Colorado and the West. I have worked with various printmaking techniques, painting and dying of fabric, and have been painting with watercolor for nearly thirty years.
Since retiring from teaching art I have pursued my own art full time; the more I paint the more inspiration I find. It is important to capture the beauty and calmness of the moment so that feeling may be shared with the viewer.
