Bio

I am continually inspired by our local landscape - so distinct from the tropical beach and swaying palms one normally associates with Florida. I like painting bears - we have many in our area which we seldom see. I also paint buffalo which can be found at Paynes Prairie Preserve, just south of Gainesville. The bear, buffalo, fox, raccoons, owls, and other critters represent a certain wildness that appeals to me and I often include them in my paintings.
